# MiyaIP proxy pricing, renewal, and credits FAQ

> Understand MiyaIP proxy billing, account balance, static IP renewal and expiry, traffic limits, and the difference between Crawler credits and calls.

<Note>
  These answers cover general proxy billing and renewal rules. Your selected plan and the latest dashboard details determine actual prices, traffic allowances, validity periods, and usage conditions.
</Note>

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How are IPs billed?">
    For dynamic IP plans billed by traffic volume, usage is the **sum of uploaded and downloaded traffic**. Dedicated static residential and data center IPs are billed by the **number of IPs**.

    Check each product's tutorial for its plan conditions. Browse the [product guides](/introduction) to continue.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does my top-up balance expire?">
    You can use your top-up balance to purchase MiyaIP proxy products. The balance does not expire and remains available until used up. Available plans follow the current options in your dashboard.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I keep the same IP if I renew after it expires?">
    The system automatically reclaims an IP **7 days** after expiration. Renew before the expiry date to keep your original IP. A static IP remains the same when renewed on time.

    Expiry dates and renewal conditions follow your selected plan and the latest dashboard details.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is there a traffic limit for static residential IPs?">
    Static residential IPs are billed by the **number of IPs** and have no traffic limit. Your specific purchased plan and the latest dashboard details determine actual usage conditions.

    See the [static residential quick start](/proxy/static-residential/quick-start) for setup.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Are Crawler credits the same as API calls?">
    No. Crawler API usage depends on the interface's base cost and billing parameters. When a billing parameter and multiplier apply, the estimated cost is:

    ```text theme={null}
    CreditCostBase + Params[CreditCostParam] × CreditCostMultiplier
    ```

    Otherwise use the base cost. Check the task's actual `costCredits` against the console call log. For example, **1,000 credits ÷ 2 credits per task = 500 tasks** of the same type. Do not equate 1,000 credits with 1,000 calls or a guaranteed number of successful results.

    The current interface, plan, and dashboard determine actual usage. See the [Crawler API tutorial](/developers/crawler-api) to submit a task, query its result, and check the charge.
